Blinkie Tutorial in PSP and AS |
| This tutorial will show you how to put letters on blinkie templates. Download Redensek Font Download Free Trial of PSP and Animation Shop For this tutorial you will need Animation Shop, Paint Shop Pro, Redensek font, and a blinkie template. I recommend using the one below so you can follow along. Save the template to your computer.  1. To begin with, open Animation Shop 2. Go to File>Open and find the template you saved. 3. This particular template has 6 frames. Click on the first frame. It should be highlighted like in the picture below. Press Ctrl+C or go to Edit>Copy.  (Click to see original image) 4. Open up Paint Shop Pro. I am using Paint Shop Pro 9, but you should easily be able to adapt this to other versions 5. Once Paint Shop Pro is opened press Ctrl+V or go to Edit>Paste. The first frame of the template should now be pasted. 6. Click on your text tool which looks like this  . We are going to do one letter at a time. Click on the template. A text box should come up. Type in the first letter then hit apply. You will probably have to drag the letter where it belongs in the box. Then do the same for the rest of the letters.7. After you have finished putting all the letters into the boxes you should have a two layered image. Look at your layer palette and it should look like the picture below. Click on the layer that says “vector”. Press Ctrl+C or go to Edit>Copy.  8. Go back into Animation Shop. Press Ctrl+V or go to Edit>Paste>As New Animation. Your text should now be pasted into Animation Shop. Now you need to copy that text again so press Ctrl+C or go to Edit>Copy. 9. Go back to your template. Click on it once to activate it. Then press Ctrl+A or go to Edit>Select All. Now all 6 frames of the template should be highlighted as seen below.  (Click to see original image) 10. On the top menu go to Edit>Propogate Paste.  11. Go back to your template and press Ctrl+V or go to Edit>Paste>Into Selected Frame. Use your mouse to position the letters where they need to be in the boxes. Once you click you should see your text in all 6 frames. 12. Save your creation  |
